Spotless and well located, room was large and comfortable bed.

The welcome wasn't that warm or friendly, the man just took the money and gave us our room key. Not unusual for a hotel but people have raved about the warm welcome they had recieved so was expecting a really nice welcome. Cooked breakfasts are meant to be served until 10.30, granted we arrived down at 10.25 but were told we were too late, thought that was a little off considering the reason we had a lay in is because we were spending a considerable amount of money in their on site club the night before. The breakfast looked good, shame we only got to try the toast! It seemed the ephasis was on the bar and its patrons, it would be nice to extend that warm welcome to people paying £100 a night on top of the bar bill.

Loved the staff they were amazing especially at breakfast. Very friendly and was clear that as a lesbian couple we were treated no differently. Amazingsea views and room was truely amazing, we couldve lived there. Would return again definitely as a weekend get away because we absolutely loved it. Was romantic and we loved sitting at breakfast in the sunshine on the patio ....

Only downfalls would be that at night time the noise from the patrons was a bit off-putting buy is expected with a bar/club; also the drainage is extremely slow in the shower but with a shower and bath we could choose. (Not sure that would apply to every room)

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Although this is a premier Gay Hotel we were made to feel very welcome and did not feel at all uncomfortable. Room was lovely and had a magnificent view of the sea and the pier.

It could be a little bit noisy at night as there is a lively bar and nightclub downstairs. Would recommend you stay on a higher floor.

The location and competitive prices, easy to find and car park near by. Bed was very comfy and lots of space in room and breakfast was yummy.

Bathroom was small and would request a higher floor in future as it was quite noisy but I sleep through anything so didn't bother me too much. The toilets in the bar area need air fresherners.

The staff were all very friendly even though we were unusual as a Hetrosexual Couple. The breakfasts were lovely and the bar area well thought out with a beautifully colourful decor ! We never got to go down to the Basement Club ! After trudging round Brighton all day and getting soaked in the rain, it was just too late opening at 11pm and tiredness took over but maybe next time !

Lift was a bit scary and because we had a budget loft room in the extension, the room was hot plus the shower tray wouldn't empty quickly enough but we survived ! I did wonder whether in fact we'd make it downstairs if there was a serious fire, it seemed a long way from safety ! Parking was hit & miss with the permit and we had to walk with our luggage but I think my husband was more concerned as to whether his car would be vandalised but it wasn't !

Fantastic location and nice staff. Although one room on the first floor was noisy one evening, the staff changed a really nice one. I enjoyed the stay there!

All the staff are very helpful and friendly. Room was excellent, tastefully decorated and the choice of a bath or shower. Breakfast was cooked to perfection with the choice of vegan or vegeterian options. Excellent location on beach front and close to city centre for shopping.

As bar is open throughout the night (5am) sleeping can be difficult at times. Due to patrons smoking outside.

Excellent location, and were upgraded to deluxe front room looking over the sea and the pier. Hotel close also to the shopping and restaurant areas. Well equipped bathroom, comfortable large bed, large bay windows that opened to lovely sea breeze. Very welcoming atmosphere whether gay or straight - the only thing as a non-gay couple was that we felt a bit dowdy amongst the beautiful clientele!

Front room also overlooked the outside part of the bar which was open to 5am and a bit noisy on the weekend.

I loved this hotel and i would go back again, Thanks Legends

The only thing i would say i didnt like was the bathroom was very small.

The Hotel was great and staff very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good and so much choice. The only fault I have is the shower room was so tiny! And no window and not enough room for a sink, but this was still in your room. We had a sea view room........and the view truly was amazing.

The shower room could have been bigger, but the sea view compensated this. No hairdryer as stated.

On arrival we were given an upgrade, as told our room would probably be able to hear the air conditioning. New room was huge, bare feet sunk into the carpet and heated floor tiles in the barhroom. I phone docking station and good size tv also in room. Kingsize bed massively comfy. Breakfast the next day was to a good standard. Staff were friendly as were other guests.

Even though shower was clean and huge, took a while for the water to get hot and the water didn't drain away very quickly, a little worried we were going to flood the bathroom. All turned out ok though, managed to shower and avoid the flood!!

Our luxury suite was divine! Plush carpet in immaculate condition, huge room with 2 massive windows looking over the pier, huge comfy bed, tea and coffee facilities and a big bathroom. The staff at Legends were so friendly and attentive. Nothing was a problem. The location is excellent for shopping and the beach. Many reviewers mention the noise but we stayed on Friday and Saturday night on the 3rd floor and it was fine. However, I wouldn't like to be on the 1st floor! Breakfast was excellent!

The shower drain in our room was really blocked. We had to stop the shower every couple of minutes so it didn't overflow. No food is served after 5pm which was ok but it would have been great to have a quick meal onsite.

The staff were friendly and breakfast was lovely. They had the biggest bed i've ever been in and very comfortable I would definately stay there again
